Giorgio Moroder – Scarface Theme (30th Anniversary Remix) | New Music
Giorgio Moroder, the legendary musician who has seen his star power come back into the fold a bit this year after his feature on Daft Punk’s latest album. He’s back today, giving us something new, sort of, and something definitely infectious.
With the 30th anniversary of the classic movie, Scarface, going down this year, Mr. Moroder decided to put his own touches on the theme song from the legendary flick. Giorgio takes the synth heavy, familiar cut and gives it some new drums, some added accents, and some Tony Montana vocal samples that makes for something rather cool. Katy B – Cry For No Reason
2014 will see the return of Katy B, as she gears up to drop off her upcoming opus Little Red. Today the songstress is back with a new track called “Cry For No Reason” and finds the singer giving us something dope, powerful, and rather addictive.
The track is driven by some big synth chords that get backed up by some nice drum work, making a nice home for Katy to do her thing, and she does her thing while providing something energetic. She floats upon the instrumental and nicely showcases her vocal talents to the world.
