Hank Williams Jr. to Headline New Year’s Eve ‘Bash on Broadway’

Music City is getting the lineup in place for the 5th Annual New Year’s Eve ‘Bash on Broadway.’ There are still artists to be set, but the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp has announced that Hank Williams Jr. will headline the event.
This is a special occasion for the entertainer, who doesn’t typically perform on New Year’s because it is the anniversary of the death of his father, Hank Wiiliams.
“This year is going to be very special on New Year’s Eve,” Williams says in a press release. “December 31 will mark the 60th anniversary of Daddy’s death. For years, I have not performed on New Year’s Eve in honor of my father, but this year is a monumental year in the history of Hank Williams. If Daddy would have lived, he would have been 90 years old this year. I hope Music City is ready to boogie woogie, because Bocephus is going [to] bring the party to Nashville.”
The Bash on Broadway is one of the largest New Year’s celebrations in the country, spanning multiple days filled with free music and a music note drop to ring in the New Year at midnight.
