Toni Braxton and Babyface have delayed their collaborative album until 2014, but they give us an early Christmas gift with their holiday duet “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” The R&B superstars play a former couple, who reconnect over a phone call around the holiday season.
Toni, who previously covered the song for her 2001 Christmas album Snowflakes, coos in a sultry tone as she duets with the legendary producer.
If you’re in L.A., you can catch them performing the song at The Grove’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday.
Love, Marriage & Divorce is due Feb. 4 featuring the single “Hurt You,” while the new season of “Braxton Family Values” kicks off tonight.
